We are responsible for the sustainability of the entire supply chain — from purchasing raw materials from producers to shipping finished batches to international ports and final buyers.
Quality parameters for each batch are agreed upon in contracts and specifications (including using standard GAFTA/FOSFA forms where applicable).
Traceability and Standards
Rusagro ensures transparency of grain and oilseed movement throughout the logistics network:
- procurement from farmers and agricultural enterprises;
- reception, storage, and processing at own elevators and terminals;
- shipment through ports of Reni (Ukraine) and Giurgiulesti (Moldova);
Strict Quality Control
We apply a multi-level quality control system:
- own laboratories at key elevators and terminals;
- cooperation with independent certified laboratories;
- regular analyses of main quality indicators (moisture, impurities, test weight, oil content, etc.);
- checks for GMOs, pesticides, and other critically important parameters based on contract requirements and importer country legislation;
ISCC and Supplies for Biofuel Production
For supply chains of rapeseed and other crops used in biofuel production, Rusagro ensures compliance with ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) standard requirements. This includes:
- confirmation of sustainable origin of raw materials;
- observance of sustainable land use criteria;
- accounting for greenhouse gas emissions throughout the supply chain;
Fertilizers and Sustainable Agriculture
We supply mineral and ecological fertilizers from leading European manufacturers. High quality, high solubility, and thoughtful product formulas help farmers increase yields and product quality while reducing the load on soil and the environment and supporting sustainable agriculture.
